Answer in brief
SeekOut searches over a billion profiles. If your bottleneck is now the interview and identity checks, here are five alternatives compared, with sources.
Answer in brief
SeekOut is a sourcing platform first, and a strong one, with search across more than a billion profiles, so if finding people is still your problem, keep it. Once the pipeline is full and the bottleneck has moved to interviewing and verifying candidates, BerriBot, hireEZ, Eightfold AI and Metaview each cover part of that gap, while HackerRank covers the coding round.
Most searches for a SeekOut alternative start from a good problem: search worked, the pipeline filled, and the hiring team now spends its week on first-round calls with candidates who looked right on paper, a few of whom, on remote technical roles, may not be the person on the profile at all. A sourcing tool can only do so much about that, because it is an interview problem. Since we're one of the alternatives below, keep that in mind as you read.
Where SeekOut is stronger
When the hard part of hiring is finding people in the first place, SeekOut is the better pick. Its search covers more than a billion profiles, with specialist pools for cleared and healthcare talent, and multi-touch outreach campaigns run straight from the results, which for cleared engineers or specialist clinicians is something no interview-led platform tries to replicate, ours included.
Getting started is easy too, since Recruit Core is published at $149 a month billed annually with a 14-day free trial, and the other tiers are custom. The integration list covers what most enterprise teams run, including Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Greenhouse, iCIMS, Lever, Avature, Bullhorn and SmartRecruiters, and the homepage names DocuSign, Sony, Thomson Reuters, Atlassian, Roblox, Microsoft and Pfizer as customers. This year the company has also moved quickly, naming Sean Thompson CEO in April 2026 and, in June, launching a ChatGPT integration alongside self-serve Recruit Core.
The point where sourcing turns into an interview problem
SeekOut does run a screen of its own in Sam, an asynchronous, voice-led AI interview of about 15 to 20 minutes that returns competency scores and a transcript. From that screen a candidate can book a call with a recruiter, which is the extent of the scheduling we found, and as a quick first filter on a large pipeline it may be all you need.
The gap opens when the volume is technical and remote. Because we did not find a coding assessment on SeekOut's site, the technical round has to happen somewhere else. On integrity, Sam rates how consistent a candidate's answers are with their resume, which SeekOut itself says does not eliminate fraud, and since we found no identity, proxy or deepfake checks, nothing in the screen is built to notice if someone other than the applicant is answering. That leaves a choice between keeping SeekOut for search with an interview tool beside it and moving the whole loop onto one platform.
SeekOut alternatives
BerriBot
This section is ours, so discount it accordingly. BerriBot is an agentic AI recruiting platform that puts the steps after search in one place, and Berri MasterMind runs the first-round interview itself, starting with questions drawn from the candidate's own resume, moving into role questions and then into coding in an integrated environment, with 50+ programming languages and 140+ languages and accents. Every answer gets a follow-up and a score against a rubric, while Berri Proctor runs for the whole session with 3D liveness detection, face and voice matched to the candidate's ID, lip-sync analysis, eye-gaze tracking, voice analytics, second-person detection and, since January 2026, smart-glasses detection, each event flagged with a timestamped screenshot. Before any of that, Berri Connect places 10,000+ calls a minute from a Truecaller Verified number, messages candidates over WhatsApp, SMS and email, and books the interview.
The difference from SeekOut comes down to where each of us starts. Berri Search & Match reads every profile against the job description and ranks the shortlist with our Match Ranking Index, yet it does not search a billion-profile database, so for cleared or clinical talent that nobody else can find, SeekOut is the better tool. On the practical side, we have native Workday and SuccessFactors integrations, publish no pricing and have no G2 reviews yet, and a pilot covers one job family of 200 to 500 interviews.
hireEZ
Built as a layer of agentic AI over the ATS you already have, hireEZ sources across 45+ platforms, reviews applicants and runs a talent CRM, campaigns, conversational voice AI and an AI scheduler with calendar sync, all of it rebuilt in August 2026 as an agent-native platform around EZ Agent.
Since both are strongest at the top of the funnel, hireEZ is the closest like-for-like swap for SeekOut among the tools here, and its scheduling goes further. Its AI screen runs by phone, asking role-aligned questions and returning a transcript and summarized signals, with an integrity report on every screen flagging AI-assisted answers and voice inconsistencies and ResumeSense doing the same for manipulated resumes. What we could not find on its site was a coding assessment, identity verification or deepfake video detection. Solo recruiters start at $494 a month, enterprise pricing is custom, and the 50+ integrations include Workday, iCIMS, Greenhouse and SAP.
Eightfold AI
For large enterprises, Eightfold offers a talent intelligence platform that covers more of the journey from search to interview than any option here except ours. Its agents find and rediscover talent across external and internal pools, Candidate Agent handles applications, scheduling and follow-ups over SMS, WhatsApp, web and voice, and AI Interviewer runs adaptive interviews in 24+ languages, covering functional skills and coding. For identity it relies on ID.me and CLEAR partners, and it detects fraud on 12+ cheating signals such as tab switching, camera manipulation and duplicate voices, which are flagged for human review.
Scope is what separates it from SeekOut, because the same skills model also drives internal mobility, succession and workforce readiness, which is valuable if you want it and a lot of platform if you don't. On the buying side, Eightfold connects to Workday Recruiting, SAP SuccessFactors and Oracle Fusion Cloud Recruiting, counts Salesforce, Citi, HP, HSBC, Deutsche Telekom and Wipro among its named customers, and keeps its pricing unpublished.
Metaview
Metaview comes at the problem from the recruiter's admin load. Its agents source from a job description and review inbound applications, fillmore runs outreach by email, LinkedIn and WhatsApp and books screening calls, and a voice agent runs the screening call itself, after which Metaview takes notes on the later-round interviews that people lead.
If your interviewers will keep interviewing and simply want to spend less time writing it up, that makes Metaview a better fit than SeekOut. Its screening agent flags AI-assisted or fraudulent answers and signs of reading from a second screen, although we found no ID, proxy or deepfake checks and no dedicated coding assessment. Trying it is easy, with a free sourcing tier for the first 100 profiles, then $100 or $300 per user a month and custom pricing for the full platform, and it connects to 100+ ATSs.
HackerRank, if you only need the coding round
For teams keeping SeekOut and adding a technical screen beside it, HackerRank is the obvious specialist. Chakra runs voice or video AI interviews with adaptive follow-ups and coding in an integrated IDE, HackerRank lists 22 named ATS integrations, and when we checked in September its Starter plan was $165 a month billed annually for 120 candidate attempts a year, with a G2 rating of 4.6 from 561 reviews. Because HackerRank claims no identity verification and no deepfake detection, and says so plainly, pairing it with SeekOut still leaves open the question of who is on the call.

In this table "Not found" means we did not find it on the vendor's site on 1 October 2026, which is a narrower claim than saying the product lacks it, and a "Yes" hides a lot of difference too, since SeekOut's interview is a 15 to 20 minute asynchronous voice screen while ours runs through to coding. HackerRank is missing from the table because we have not checked it against these six steps.
How to choose
While the hard part of your hiring is still finding people, especially cleared or clinical talent, keep SeekOut or move to it, because a billion-profile search with specialist pools is the thing it does best. For a stronger agent layer over the ATS, and a team comfortable with phone screens, hireEZ is the nearest replacement, and where interviews will stay human, Metaview takes the writing off your panel.
With a full pipeline and the technical first round as the new problem, the choice comes down to Eightfold and BerriBot. Eightfold makes sense when hiring is one part of a larger talent program and you want mobility and workforce planning from the same vendor, whereas BerriBot makes sense when you want the interview, the coding and continuous identity checks in one place and nothing more. Whichever you shortlist, run it on one live requisition and compare what comes back, including what each tool did with the candidate who didn't match their profile.
FAQ
What is SeekOut best at?
Sourcing. SeekOut searches more than a billion profiles, with specialist pools for cleared and healthcare talent, and runs multi-touch outreach campaigns from the results. Its customers named on the homepage include DocuSign, Sony, Thomson Reuters, Atlassian, Roblox, Microsoft and Pfizer.
Does SeekOut run AI interviews?
Yes, in a limited form. Sam runs an asynchronous, voice-led AI screening interview of about 15 to 20 minutes, with competency scores and a transcript, and lets the candidate book a call with a recruiter. We did not find a coding assessment on SeekOut's site.
Does SeekOut detect proxy candidates or deepfakes?
We did not find identity, proxy or deepfake checks on its site. Sam rates how consistent a candidate's answers are with their resume, and SeekOut says this does not eliminate fraud.
How much does SeekOut cost?
Recruit Core is $149 a month billed annually, with a 14-day free trial. Other tiers are priced on request.
What is the best SeekOut alternative for technical hiring?
It depends on what you want to keep. If you keep SeekOut for search, add HackerRank for coding or BerriBot for the interview, coding and identity checks together. If you want one vendor across sourcing, interviewing and internal mobility, look at Eightfold AI.
Can SeekOut and BerriBot be used together?
Yes, as separate tools, with SeekOut finding candidates and BerriBot interviewing and verifying them. SeekOut lists Workday and SAP SuccessFactors integrations, and BerriBot has native integrations with both, so the ATS can sit between them.
